I now have a three year old boy, Elijah, who is as adorable and as strong willed as both of us put together. The things I love most in life are Jesus Christ, my family, and Art. As of now, I am working as a self-taught artist from home, while I stay with my son. I am planning to enroll part time in George-Fox University to study Graphic and Web design. new website coming soon | | Ellie Harvie was born in Ontario and raised in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and as an adult she migrated to Vancouver in the hopes of finding a hill. After training at the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School Ellie Harvie embarked on years of theatre. Touring the provinces’ schools with “Greenthumb Theatre,” performing in scads of Fringe Festivals and then finally the big stages. She spent many years with The Vancouver TheatreSports League as one of their top players, both writing and performing. Then TV came a callin.’ Ellie Harvie finally got a big break playing “Morticia” on Fox Family’s “The New Addams Family.” Following that came PR, a short-lived CBC sitcom, a Gemini nomination (Canada’s Emmy) for the CBC comedy special, “Improv Comedy Olympics” and finally, the sign post of making it as a Canadian actor, “guest star” spots on locally shot American television shows. This past year she received a Gemini nomination for CTV’s “Cold Squad.” With roots in comedy, Ellie’s free time is spent doing improv and stand up.
